Bruss, Edna (8 JUL 1929)

Mr. Elmo Barton and Miss Edna Bruss were quietly married at Winona, Minn., July 8th, 1929.

Both of these young people are well and favorably known in this locality. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Barton of the town of Weston, Clark County, Wis. He graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of 1924, and since his graduation has been working in the Naedler Garage. He is a young man of industry and upright character. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruss of this city. She also graduated from the Neillsville High School, being a member of the class of 1927. After graduation she worked in the Bruley Elevator until this spring, since then being employed in the Wasserburger Store. Her courtesy and efficiency in her work have made her many friends.

For the present both will continue with their work and make their home at the residence of the bride's parents.

On Thursday evening friends of the bride and groom assembled at the Bruss home and gave a miscellaneous shower in their honor. Many useful and beautiful gifts were presented.
